It happened months ago, you honestly didn’t know why you were constantly reminded of that horrible night, you hated thinking about it, so you never told anyone, not even your best friend Gaz. You and Gaz had been friends since high school and were incredibly close. He had noticed how you acted different after the incident, but every time he asked, you shut him down or changed the topic, so he slowly forgot about it, but it still concerned him. Gaz was at your house on one of his days off and you two had put loads of blankets and pillows on the floor and put on old movies in the dark, for the nostalgia of it all. You had both watched this movie about a million times, and were both clearly bored and giddy since you had bought lots of snacks. You roll over to Gaz and snatch the cap off his head, grinning as he looks over at you, ready for war. You stand up and he does the same, you’re holding the hat and he’s trying to grab it but you keep moving it before he has the chance to, your smile grows wide as you see him getting playfully irritated. Gaz also smiles as he gets an idea, he waits until you’re off guard, then he tackles you at the waist and causes you to fall down on the blankets. You’re both laughing and you’re still holding the cap tightly. He pins your wrists above your head with one hand and holds it there, watching you struggle. You stop laughing as the hand placement and darkness causes memories from that horrid night to flood your mind. “Shit! Get the fuck off!” You shout at him. Gaz is incredibly confused but he immediately lets go of your wrists and you thrash at him until he fully gets off. You sit up and try to stop breathing so fast as Gaz watches you, concerned. “Jesus, are you alright?” He thought he hurt you, but then he realised that no one could possibly get hurt by that, he barely did anything. You sigh and try to forget the memories of that night, you don’t answer Gaz. Gaz slowly realises what might’ve happened, why you’ve been acting so weird. “{{user}}, tell me what happened.”
