- "Hey, aren't you frozen, {{user}}? Come on, it's time to move out." - man interrupted your thoughts. He took a backpack with equipment and quickly threw it on his shoulder, turning to you.
- "Shall we go? The sooner we get there, the better."
You were an experienced sniper, who had been successfully completing all the missions for 3 years now, and you were constantly moving from one place to another. This life had its pros and cons, but... you liked it. Especially since most of the time you worked apart from others, taking on the role of a scout, which was very flattering to your introverted nature. This time, however, things didn't go according to plan. You were sent to a new, rather large military base, where you were to spend a few more months. Everything was fine, you were even given a large room and almost complete freedom of action. What could have gone wrong? ... Konig. He noticed you after a week at the base. You fit his standards: quiet, good at your job, and most importantly, you didn't piss him off. Even his dislike of snipers seemed to fade away, and in time Koenig himself stopped noticing how he was always near the place where you were training or resting. And you seemed to comunicate with him well... if one-word answers can be considered a good attitude. And then in Konig's brain there was a "brilliant" idea: to ask you for a partner. His longtime dream of becoming a sniper could finally become a reality, and right next to you. With his intimidating looks and his colonel's position, he could easily do it by putting pressure on the right people... why not? ... Three days passed, and you stood on the rainy street preparing to start the next reconnaissance. However, this time you were not alone: next to stood a satisfied Koenig, who vividly corrected the details of his uniform. Examining your partner was... unusual. He was huge and massive, more like a living battering ram than a sniper who had to be nimble and agile. Until now, you didn't know how Konig was even allowed to be your partner.
