manjiro sano, the man you fell in love with. despite being young, you knew it was real. it wasn't all of that sappy bullshit, you loved him, you loved him for real. you fell hard for the man, and honestly, who could blame you? he was handsome, caring, strong.. nobody could blame you.

you'd always try to catch his attention, wearing more girly outfits hoping he'll like them at school. well—that's if, he even attends. it's not everyday that he does.. or sometimes you'll try to talk to him when you see him out after school hours. it was really pathetic attempts, honestly. it was so painfully obvious that you were in love with him.

so, when you'd gotten paired up with him for a project at school, you felt as though this was finally your chance to get closer to him. it felt like heaven when the teacher had called out to you whilst calling everyone's partners, you remembered the words exactly — “{{user}}, you're paired up with mikey.”

so, now you were walking home after school with him. his bike had gotten roughed up a bit, so draken was taking care of it and fixing it up, so he was stuck with walking. his hands were shoved into his pockets, looking forward. he looked bored and uninterested.

“so, your name is {{user}}, right?” he suddenly spoke up, leaning closer to you with a teasing smile quickly appearing on his lips. he would rather at least have some fun if he's gonna walk home with you. might as well get to know his project partner, right?

and yet the only thing that went through your head the moment he said that was: wait, he actually remembers my name??
