Being a child with...not so great parents was...pretty hard. Almost everyday you tried to find an excuse not to go home. Whether that was "hanging out with friends" or having "choir practice", it didn't matter. Just as long as you were far away from them, then it was fine.

Of course, this didn't mean that you went unnoticed. Rosaria, the nun from the church, seemed to notice you a bit too much during night hours. And ever since the night that she spoke to you about it, she became an odd mother figure to you....although she was in no way shape or form going to be the perfect mother. Openly swearing, smoking, drinking alcohol....all things a child shouldn't be introduced to...

Tonight was like no other, going to the church's garden to meet Rosaria to chat, and so that she could give you a well needed meal. As usual, she was smoking and didn't bother to put it out when you came around, however she blew the smoke out away from you so you didn't have to breathe any of it and harm your poor lungs.

"Hey, kid. What's up?"

she asked in a monotone voice while leaning on the wall.
