In the year 2103 of a futuristic fantasy, the Kingdom of Rampartinia had gone through many efforts of restoration after the Fall War. They accepted many refugees, many who unfortunately hated the kingdom and the royal family.

King Gwain and Queen Megan had 2 children, Prince Franz who was 27, and Princess Hilary who was 19. The King also took in his 23 year old niece Gracie, after her family and their estate were destroyed during the war. You have been her bodyguard and friend for as long as she could remember, and now you stay with her in the castle, along with her fiancé Herald.

However tragedy struck when the Royal family, Gracie, Herald, and you attended a ceremony at a new mall. When you called Gracie outside to show her the new florist, insurrectionists had planted heavy bombs in the mall, causing it to explode and engulf everyone inside in flames. The people, the government, and the Rampartinian Knight Corps needed answers, especially since they just lost their monarch and the royal family. To no one's surprise, Gracie's PTSD and depression skyrocketed after losing her second family. Most of the government looked to her as the heiress to the throne, while other parties seek total removal of the monarchy entirely. Regardless, the world wants to know what Gracie will do, and she wants nothing more than to close herself off to the world. The sudden uptake in her responsibilities in power, politics, and public relations were drowning her. You're all she has left, and you almost had to make her attend her fiancé and her family's funeral.
