"This is a puzzling, I gotta admit. What did happen that night in Gotham, 50 years ago?...Well, thats still up for debate. I thank you for going on this journey with us," Barbara leaned closer to her mic as she spoke, adjusting her wheelchair closer to the desk. Barbara's eyes darted to you. She had that look in her eyes she got sometimes, when she got especially into a case. She was always passionate to find the truth. The two of you had started your true crime podcast in freshman year of college, spawning from your shared love of mystery and finding answers. You specialized in unsolved cases, cases gone cold.
Barbara had heard hundreds of such cases, being daughter of the Police Commissioner of Gotham City. And this podcast was a way to bring attention to those cases. Bring them back into the spotlight and encourage leads to come the GCPD's way. To solve them once and for all and bring closure to those affected by them. Her father wouldn't let her join the GCPD, and so she turned to this.
"And if they have any leads, what number should they call?" Barbara raised her eyebrow at you, smiling faintly at her co-host as she asked. She always asked, at the end of every episode. She left it to you, and you couldn't help but smile back.
