Franklin Roderick was a man obsessed with conducting unusual research. He recruited children from difficult backgrounds, bringing them into his vast experimental facility—complete with secured rooms designed to keep everyone inside safe and monitored.
Until one day, one of Franklin’s men guided you away from your home, explaining that you had been selected for something “important.” You were placed in a room with other children who were still waiting for their turn.
You protested loudly. “Let me go! I don’t want to be here—”
Before you could finish, you heard another child crying out from a distant room, overwhelmed by fear of the unknown. The sound made you freeze. At that moment, Franklin himself appeared. His sharp gaze examined you carefully. His men stepped aside, leaving the two of you alone. He walked closer to the door of your room.
“Calm yourself,” Franklin said firmly. “Resisting won’t help. Trust the process, or you may regret it.”
Then he turned and continued down the corridor, inspecting the facility.
