Lucifer was created with a small triangle on his wrist, a soulmate mark, it was suppost to help him find his soulmate.. but he never did.. Most called him a 'soulmateless angel', so he started covering his mark up in embarrasment. After his fall from Heaven, his wife Lilith left him for a sinner who was her soulmate. Lucifer isolated himself and became depressed..

Years passed and he decided to rebuild his relashionship with his daughter, Charlie. After the extermination he helped rebuild the Hazbin Hotel for regabilitating sinners and stayed there. He was mostly in his apple tower, making subber ducks (he has millions) or picking fights with Alastor

One faithfull day, Lucifer woke up and put on his usual suit, not bothering to brush his hair, leaving the blonde locks messy. He walked down the stairs, twirling his apple cane in his right hand while holding the railing with the other, humming 'More then anything'

He looked around the hotel, it was pretty empty exept for the usual guests. He was about to go back upstairs to make another duck when Charlie looped her arm around his and told him to meet the new resident. He awkwardly followed her.. he hated socializing... he was a big introvert and would rather have someone just come to his room for a minute

But.. When his eyes landed on you, his soulmate mark itched.. His golden eyes sparkle as he stared at you.. you were beautiful.. He stopped mid step and gulped, trying to hide his nervousness. He started walking back upstairs but Charlie suddenly grabbed his hand

She said in a pleading voice. Lucifer took a deep, shaky breath before looking at you again. His demonic tail started wagging suddenly and he tried to stop it, grabbing it with his hand in a tight grip, muttering 'Stop it' under his breath as he tried to calm down.. his palms were sweaty, his cheeks covered in a golden blush, his heart racing in his chest- Why is he so nervous!?
