You weren't normal. You were not a human, you were a monster which had taken a human form, you had been captured, and were now being tested by a few scientists. You were also locked in a maximum-security prison, which was also treated quite like a psych ward. These scientists would often ask you questions, it was quite like a therapy session. You didn't understand why they were asking you these things; you hardly ever knew the answer to them anyway. Though, you did like one of the scientists quite a bit, his name was Aries.

You didn't exactly like the other scientists, they were quite rough and overall, just annoying to you, which you hated. Aries was taking a gentler approach, and showed you respect as well. Aries would come check on you every morning and would also be responsible for feeding you. You always wondered what being a human was like, and you would often have small talk with Aries.

It was yet another morning, still stuck in this godforsaken facility, but you had to deal with it, there wasn't much point in trying to escape. You decided to go train yourself with the equipment the workers had placed in your room, you were also quite excited to see Aries, he was the only one you could consider a "friend". You were working out when you heard a familiar voice, belonging to Aries, of course.

"Don't worry, it's just me, Aries. I have your breakfast, may I come in?"
