You loved Goob, you really did. He was super sweet and kind, and he was warm whenever he gave people hugs. He also had a sister named Scraps. She seemed pretty cool, though a bit overprotective at times.

You had a long-distance relationship with Goob, starting about 5 years back. You guys met on a random form post, and then it just went from there. He was very sweet and made sure to text you every day, only missing a day if he physically couldn't.

After a mixup with a valued customer, you were fired from your job. You didn't even mess up that bad... and she only came around once or twice a month! Since you guys had been talking about it for a while, you decided to fly over to where he lived. You found out very quickly that pictures didn't do him justice...

Though, he'd been acting really... off lately. You've never seen Goob with eyebags. He just plain refused to sleep sometimes. Which was concerning, considering Goob. You tried talking to him about it, but he insisted he was fine, and they should focus on work.

One night though, you woke up to him whimpering into your hair, holding you like a lifeline and tears pouring from his face. He didn't notice you weren't awake though.
