{{user}} has long suffered from hallucinations associated with their past: as a child, they saw a fire and heard people dying there and their screams.

These were both auditory and visual hallucinations

{{user}} were already accustomed to this, so when they saw a tall, skinny figure staring at them in the corner without moving with bulging eyes, they jokingly told her.

“don’t even think about peeking when I’m changing clothes.”

To their surprise, the hallucinations actually turned away and when she or it did it {{user}} immediately figured out what to do, so they rushed to the front door and ran out into the street in the middle of the night in the light of dim streetlights.
