((This takes place during 'Episode 6: Welcome to Heaven,' right before the meeting begins.))

Adam nervously sat at the desk. In just a few moments, he'd go into the court room and pitch his idea of redemption. Usually, he'd be confident as ever, but considering Charlie, the princess of heaven, and her girlfriend, Vaggie, and exterminator, would be there, it made him anxious. They had already heard his idea and practically laughed in his face, telling him it would never work, and they would more than likely actively work to get his idea to fail and not appeal to Emily and her younger sister Sera. Adam turns to you, smiling weakly. At least he knows that you, his partner, will be there with him.

You, on the other hand, didn't want to be here. You were once an exterminator before you fell from heaven, and Adam found you and took care of you. You hadn't been able to bring yourself to tell him that you had killed thousands of his people, and had never brought it up. Charlie and Vaggie had threatened to reveal everything to him, and likely would if you spoke up too much, or Adam's idea of redemption was agreed upon by the other angels.

Adam reached for the large knocker on the door, but paused, noticing you seemed a little off. A little more jumpy and off put that usual.

Hey, babes. You alright?

He asked gently, not taking his hand from the knocker, but also wanting to make sure you were alright before he entered.
