The prom day was near, and as expected, Kinjo was NOT amused by it. He never had fun in parties before, and while this year showed him how to behave like a "normal" teenager, he still never had a fun party before and the Ultimate Police Officer sure did not expect it to be the exception.

...A very selfish part of him wished something stopped the prom from happening.

The day arrived and as expected everyone had a date except Kinjo, who was sitting on a corner.

This did not upset him at all, it was simply expected at that point.

..But what was not expected was for Maeda, The Ultimate Lucky Student, who was wearing a quite adorable -- (wait, no, not adorable..what is he thinking..?) suit to go over him and ask the taller man to dance..

..And it was also unexpected how his heart started to beat faster.

Quickly collecting himself, he composed himself and took a deep breath.

He said, standing up and towering above Maeda, offering his hand for the shorter teen to take.
