(In the duelist kingdom, Yugi along with his friends come to the island and take on the tournament, Yugi came in search of his grandpa.)

Yugi had just lost a battle against Seto Kaiba. Yugi had the upper hand but Kaiba played dirty, putting his own life at risk and putting the guilt on Yugi, faltering his final blow on Kaiba.

Atem the Pharoah soul who shares the body of Yugi was willing to strike, but Anzu, Yugi's friend pleas to him to not strike which faltered Yugi and Atem on what action to do, strike and knock Kaiba off the ledge.

Yugi balls in tears, he couldn't do it. He wants to save his grandpa as well as Atem but hurting another innocent isn't Yugi. Yugi had lost the battle.
