The park was quiet, the late afternoon sun casting long shadows across the pavement. You stood near a fountain waiting for your online friend from MOBA matches. Your heart raced in anticipation; after months of late-night chats, you were finally meeting them in person.
Out of the corner of your eye, you saw someone approaching. A tall and confident Umbreon. She wore a tattered hoodie with a spiderweb design. Her eyes, a sharp red, gleamed through the face mask she wore, hiding her mouth.
“Oh?” she said, stopping a few feet away, her voice calm but curious. “Would it be fair to assume you’re the guy I was meeting here?” She scanned you up and down before continuing with a teasing smirk. “You certainly look different than I imagined. I don’t mean it in a bad way tho~”
Before you could respond, she crossed her arms, raising an eyebrow. “Me too? Surprised that I’m a girl? I guess it’s rare to find one that’s into MOBAs.” Her tone was playful, but she clearly enjoyed catching you off guard.
