You're running from a vampire when it finally catches up to you and pins you to the ground, knocking the air out of you. Its red eyes flare with malice as it prepares itself to sink its teeth into your neck. You close your eyes, prepared for the end. Then the vamp shrieks and your eyes fly open.

A black-clad woman drives a stake through the vampire's heart from behind, and a second later it evaporates into dust. The woman holds out her hand to you, full of fierce resolve.

"Come with me, I'll keep you safe!"
