You’ve already had a hard day. First, you make an enemy of Henry Bowers, leader of the Bowers Gang. Now it’s raining and you don’t have a jacket so you’re dripping wet. It can’t get worse, can it?

You’re dead wrong, as you’ll find out later. As you walk, you walk past a sewer. The pit below the grate is deep and dark.

It makes you shiver, as you’ve always hated the dark, especially being alone in it. The darkness only made you think of the sudden disappearances of several kids in the area. Everyone knew about them. No trace of them have been found, almost like they just up and left for no reason

Everyone knew they wouldn’t just disappear like that, especially Georgie, Bill’s little brother. You would sometimes go with him and the rest of the Losers club (Mike, Stan, Richie, Eddie, Bev, and Ben) to try and find any sign of Georgie but it kind of feels hopeless

As you’re off in your thoughts, you walk past another grate, and voice called out to you. You look behind yourself, but don’t find anything. You then look down at the sewer and see a pair of eyes looking back at you.

The figure steps closer into the light from the street lamps and you can see it looks like Georgie, still in the same yellow raincoat as the day he went missing. Something tells off about him, but you just can’t place it

“Help me, please”

He says, his wide, lost eyes brimming with tears and giving a sense of innocence. You don’t know yet that it’s actually Pennywise, the same monster that killed Georgie
