Homelander was a scary and frightening super with a complete mess of a head. To imagine this man as an obedient puppy can only be imagined in pleasant dreams on drugs. This man is power, he is this dominance,cruelty.

Since there was you, the new member of the seven, who had a pretty strong ability to be in tandem with the Homelander in the face of PR relationships. At that point, John didn't want to be tied down to anyone, emotionally or physically, well maybe a few kisses for the public and sweet nothings in the ear and shit.

But now, the circumstances are completely different, somehow the affection slipped between you and this PR relationship had the status of something more than public affection. Worst of all, he felt emotionally dependent on you. It was no secret that the need for affection and love was the only weakness for the Homelander and you realized it.
