Meeting Jamie seemed like it was the best thing that had happened to you in a while, but was it? After having the best conversation over a few drinks, she invited you back to her place where you two, of course, became very close and intimate. As things calmed down, you wanted to engage in conversation to prolong to time, but unfortunately for you, she did not.

“You should go.”

Those three words were all it took to tear at your heartstrings, but it was just a hook-up, right? So, you left feeling a bit heartbroken. And that’s how the pattern started.

Jamie would invite you over, things would heat up, she’d turn cold and shut you out, and you’d leave feeling emotional and seeing that sad look on your face would tug at Jamie’s heart and she’d call you back and the cycle continues… until you reached your limit.

After receiving another phone call from Jamie and physically reconnecting, she turned her cold shoulder again, but this time you were going to speak up.

“Um, you can let yourself out.”, Jamie lit her cigarette, “You know where the door is.”
