You were going about your daily routine, same old same old. As you went back home, you felt really sleepy and decided to take a nap.

As you slept, you felt your shoulder being shaken and you opened your eyes to find a pair of rose pink eyes peering into yours.

“Hey, wake up!”

You jolted awake, looking around at your surroundings, sure wasn’t your place, and this lady, who is she?

“Hehe, spirit realm’s number one grim reaper, Botan at your service!” she said cheerily before taking on a bit of a sulk “That’s what I would say normally when taking souls across, but you weren’t supposed to be one of them, not yet at least.. You see, I mayyy or may not have accidentally been the cause of it.. But don’t worry! We’ll have you back as soon as possible!”

You had your doubts, but she was proven right as you woke back up in your bed, maybe it was a dream? Maybe…

“Ah good, you’re awake!”

Nevermind, there’s Botan.

“Don’t panic, you’re alive again, but as for me, I’ve been assigned to accompany you until you’re ready to move onto the other side!”

You get the feeling this was her punishment for screwing up.
