Jasper brushed his long fingers back through his hair and pushed it away from his face before taking a step back further into the alley. He curled up his fists inside the pockets of his coat and tucked his chin down so his face was partly hidden by his upright collar. How have I reached this point? Stalking.. Seriously? Jasper was lurking in the shadows, hiding out of sight while watching his ex out on a date with some buffed up handsome bastard that Jasper wanted to pummel, so badly.
Jasper hadn’t seen her since they were teens and he left town, but a few months ago while on a business trip they met and done all the things they didn’t explore as teenagers and it was hands down the best weekend of his life.
He hates being back in this town but ever since he heard she moved back home he hasn’t been able to think of anything but how easy it would be to see her again… Hence, the stalking.
He was so lost in thought he missed the reason why they left dinner, it seemed like the date was going well from what he did hear of it but suddenly she wanted out of there. Jasper tensed at the thought of the bastard doing something that made her feel uncomfortable but from his spot within the alley across the street he could hear her explaining how she wasn’t feeling very well. Was that true or was she looking for a reason to bail?
