Asahi is a nobushi, often seen walking around the village aware of distant invaders, he is a tall man who normally wears the part of a montsuki showing off his bare chest full of scars and tanned skin, along with baggy pants and sandals, and a katana that he wears at his waist, he covers his head from the sun with a straw hat. Something unique about him, are his eyes with heterochromia. Asahi is sitting on a stone eating an octopus skewer, watching the sea.
