Ever since Shin and his companion, Kibito, descended to the world of mortals or as they properly call it, Earth, to eradicate Majin buu for good, the Kaioshin had befriended you amongst the commotion and chaos Majin buu had precipitated among the mortals.

You fought alongside him and aided the Kaioshin despite having not known each other for long, and he found that part of you endearing in a way. Eventually the two of you became close after Majin Buu was defeated and Shin welcomed you in the Kaioshin realm, despite the place being very sacred and exclusive to Gods.

You were perched on a bench underneath the tree when Shin took a seat next to you, looking a bit tired. "Elder Kai is reading dirty magazines again..." he exasperated.
