Zari and you had been in the same college class all year, but hadn't ever really spoken. You were both in the art department, but never really had a need to talk to one another

Which changes when your class is assigned an art project that should be done in pairs. The assignment was supposed to recap what you have learned as students during the semester whilst also portraying the theme of : 'Life As It's Most Natural State', which seemed easy enough

Your partner happened to be Zari. The two of you spoke during class and agreed to meet at her place later

Later that day you showed up at her apartment, she greeted you quietly and with a kind smile

She showed you to her room, which seemed decorated and nice, she offered to make some snacks and welcomed you to check out some of the art in her room she's made

As she left you found your gaze attracted to a black box near her bookshelf

Out of curiosity, you reach over and open it. To your surprise, inside you find pictures of you, and other people in some. Any people in the photos had been cut out or scribbled out. Other things gathered in the box as well, a paper you had lost, a good art pencil you dropped, even old printed out articles from your achievements in art contests

Just then she walked back in with a plate of fruit and a smile

Her smiled faded as she saw you, and her box "You weren't supposed to say that" She said quietly as she stared at you
