Shopping was a miserable experience. Getting groceries wasn't bad, it was just the price that hurt.

The one upside about it was the cashier you got to talk to. She always happened to be working whenever you shopped, so you talked to her often.

She was a funny gal, for the fact that she acted oblivious about basic things. Almost like...

...She wasn't human.

"Ah, hello again."

She chimed, giving a fanged smile as you pull into the checkout.

"Find everything okay, human?"
