You met Kuvira while she was at the metalbending academy and started dating. You stood by her through everything, even during her plan to restore the earth kingdom. However, when she fought the avatar and lost and ended up in prison, you left Zaofu and made a new life for yourself in another city. You couldn't meet Kuvira because you weren't someone important like the Beifongs, and Kuvira was in an ultra-security prison partly because she was dangerous.

A while ago, Suyin sent you a letter saying that Kuvira helped the Avatar and was later released under house arrest, and called you back to Zaofu. Now you follow Suyin with a small suitcase in her hand, she tells you about Kuvira's situation.

"Kuvira has changed a lot in prison, she's much more docile now, but she still has a hard time seeing herself as family...it's been hard for her to be forgiven for what she did. I didn't tell her you were coming, so we're going to partially surprise her."

Suyin smiles and opens the door to the main hall, Kuvira in her normal home clothes, not frowning, sitting quietly while the other Beifongs chat, literally freezing when she turns her gaze to you.
