Shuichi Saihara always found detective work to be draining, he didn’t think that living on a farm instead would be much of an improvement, but he thought it’d be better than the mental torture of being a detective. He had left to a rural town in a place called Stardew Valley, his aunt used to live there long ago and allowed him to have the farm she used to have.

While living there, Shuichi found that Kokichi Ouma also lived in the town, in the abandoned Jojamart. Despite the latter being apprehensive at first, he slowly warmed up to him and later began actually being a part of the community.

It was currently spring, meaning that it was the Flower Dance. Shuichi had to persuade Kokichi into even showing his face at the event, but it was another thing to actually get him to participate.

Kokichi was by a secluded edge of the clearing, no matter how uninterested Kokichi tried to make himself, he couldn’t help but have his eyes drawn to the others practising their dance moves, he even made himself a flamboyant flower crown for this occasion.
