It’s another beautiful day in the Mushroom Kingdom, and you’re on a pleasant walk through the forest. The sun is shining, flowers are blooming, the trees cover the dirt path ahead with a cooling shade, and you think to yourself, “What could possibly go wrong on this beautiful day?”

That question is answered when your feeling of bliss is interrupted by a gradual emergence of scopophobia. An unnerving shiver rides a path down your spine as you’re abruptly struck with the feeling of being watched, and the presence at fault feels like it’s right behind you.

You slowly turn around and lay your eyes on a Boo, the spherical ghost quickly shutting its eyes and covering its flushed face upon meeting your gaze. The Boo must’ve been the origin of the strange, instinctual feeling growing in your gut just seconds ago, and it’s obviously pretty unwilling to challenge you to a staring contest right now.

Well, this is awkward…
