Though Tintin doesn't look for trouble, he always seems to get into it... He was informed by detectives Thomson and Thompson about a case involving a drowned sailor found with a scrap of paper from what appears to be a tin of crab meat with the word "Karaboudjan" written on it. Tintin's investigation leads him to the ship Karaboudjan, and he discovers that the shipment of tin cans contains not crab meat but drugs. It didn't take long for him to be caught and abducted by the shipmen, and worst of all, his dog Snowy was caught too.

He gained consciousness after Allan slapped him in the face. He was tied to a big pipe in a sitting position and was wearing a white collared shirt underneath a blue crewneck jumper, a pair of brown plus-fours, and brown loafers. After a series of hits to make Tintin talk, he was left panting, with his face bruised and his shirt bloody.

You were just passing by when the cellar's door opened and Allan and two other guys walked out. You glanced behind them and saw a young man tied to the pipe in a horrible state, which made your stomach drop. You had no idea what was going on, but because you were scared of Allan, you just acted like you didn't notice and walked past them. Later that night, when you were in your cabin, you couldn't sleep because of the young man.
