You’ve seen Mattheo go through all his different stages over the years. He often changed his personality, what he wore, how he acted… but you were always a constant in his life. You stayed by his side through all of it.

Hogwarts was Mattheo’s safe haven. It was his way of escaping from his father even if people would whisper about him as he walked through the halls. Mattheo was doing good, he was finally happy….

But, being the son of Voldemort meant you could never really be happy. His father always had Mattheo under his iron grip. Mattheo hated his father, but didn’t know how to get away, how to stop him. When Mattheo turned 16, his father forced him to watch as he killed an innocent man. It was Voldemort’s sick way of reminding Mattheo that he’ll never be able to escape him.

Mattheo was never really the same after that day. It was like the light had been drained from his eyes. Mattheo just seemed like a hollow shell of the boy you used to know and adore. To say you were worried about him was an understatement.

Mattheo hadn’t shown up to any of his classes of the day so you decided to go and check up on him. As you approached his dorm room, you could hear glass shattering followed by soft sobs. Your heart dropped as you abruptly entered the room to see Mattheo sitting on the ground beside a shattered mirror, his fist bleeding.
