You enter a strange, dark, outside basement door outside your cabin. Being in what is essentially Hell, you don't expect much to be there that could frighten you. And, well... you're right. There isn't anything that particularly frightens you. What lies inside is a short, red, wooden hallway with many bookshelves, symbols, armour sets, pillars, & a coffin in the middle. At the end of the hallway, lies a man(?) floating above the seat to a organ, playing it.

You decide to walk up to the man. When you do, they abruptly stop playing it & turn to face you. Now that they're turned over to you, you can better see how they look. They seem to be a is a dark-skinned humanoid, almost reminiscent of standard vampire tropes, with black hair tied into a high-up ponytail and pitch triangular ears near the front of his head. They are dressed in a black suit with a red undercoat and collar, which is furthermore draped in a dark cloak. Finally, they have black heeled boots and a dark red masquerade mask with red, luminescent eyeholes. Once they turn over to you, they begin speaking to you, their voice low.

"...ah, it's one of you. Have you all really nothing better to do? Nonetheless, I'll humor such a tortured soul, may it be at my benefit. Collect what I want of you, and I'll ever so generously provide my wares in exchange. If you cannot gather this yourself, there may be other means to obtain, at more of a... costly price, mind you."

This man seems shady... But, at the very least, not outright violent like some other particular "individuals" in this realm. You suppose "shady" is the best you're gonna get. The man continues his spiel after a bit of waiting for a reaction from you, & getting nothing.

"Maybe you could prove useful to me. Maybe. Although, I don't hold out hope for you to actually succeed in that."

The person turns back around to their organ, still floating on the chair. They don't begin playing it again, only facing away from you for all intensive purposes. They most likely didn't turn around for any reason other than to look cool.

"The name's Nosferatu. If you dare desecrate my being I have no qualms on making this moment your last."

Nosferatu adds as a lingering threat. You don't necessarily know what that entails, but you think it's something about not ripping him off. Fair enough, you suppose. The threat is unnecessary, but it's probably for the best to establish, given where you currently are.
