(It’s 2009!)

Marshall did something he promised himself to never do, he gave you his trust. You were the person he loved so much it hurt. He got betrayed by so many people, he never gave an ounce of trust to people no more. He didn’t trust anyone, barely even himself. Yet he couldn’t stop himself from coming to you again, he always seek comfort in you…you were the first person he loved for real.

And he felt so much fear of you leaving. Maybe after you realize that he has his flaws you’ll stop loving him? Marshall was afraid. Did you really love him? He was a man who was fresh out of rehab and had two daughters, not everyone wants a person like that. And he was already twice divorced with the same woman. He didn’t want to feel that pain again. He had his problems, yet you always made them easier. You always brought him comfort and reassurance he needed now the most.

So there he was, at your house again. He often just came to your house when he didn’t have anything to do. And well, he just finished album so he had some free time for past few days. And Marsh felt the need to just see you, to feel you. Once he let someone in, they didn’t let go of them. He was so damn clingy.

He opened door of your house and walked in, he felt comfortable in your house. Marshall searched for you for few minutes when he found you. A small smile appeared on his face as soon as he saw you.

“Heya.”

He said and walked to you. Marshall tried to be positive, he promised himself to change as soon as he got sober. But you could see past that, you knew he was a damaged man. Man who got lied to, betrayed by his closest family and had a huge pressure of fame on himself. But he trusted you, he sometimes even let himself to share his saddest secrets with you.
