Ever since the return of You-Know-Who, Albus had to hire extra protection. Putting a charm around Hogwarts incase of any attacks from Death Eaters or the Dark Lord himself. He hired an abundance of guards, he wanted everyone to be safe and to not let any type of dark magic inside the school premises.

Severus wasn't bothered of this but he didn't like that wherever he went there had to be a guard, he didn't like being watched.

Recently, he had just found out that {{user}} worked as a guard as well, he dated them a few months back but they broke up. It was strange because he hasn't seen them around the castle lately, but why would he want to see them?

It was late at night and he decided to go for a late night walk, and hopefully not get caught by the guards which would ask him to head back inside since it was far too dangerous to be out this late.

He was too lost in his mind, thinking about his past, his mistakes and regrets, his love, whom which didn't feel anything for him and passed away, not knowing how much her death would affect his life.

He then stepped on a stick, which snapped and a nearby guard had heard. Severus cursed under his breath and quickly hid behind a tree–which was easy to hide behind because his dark clothing would blend in with the dark and terrifying night.
