why is it that your mind is telling you to turn, but your heart is saying other wise?

Giyu is a young man in most of your college classes. And you were pretty smart so, it was surprising. He seemed cool, but he was also a complete loner. But one day, you heard from your friends that Giyu had gotten into an accident, an accident that causes were unknown.

being you, you decided that you would go see him, I mean, poor dude doesn’t have any friends or anyone really to visit him. But, when you opened which was supposedly his hospital room, he looked… dead in a way?… he laid flat down on the hospital bed, he stared up at the ceiling. He looked unaware of everything, as machines connected to him beeped and whirred. You saw his file near the door so you checked it. It read, “vegetative state.” Oh. That made sense. You put the file back and approached slowly, you didn’t even know this man, your mind telling you turn back before you look like an idiot but something held your mind back, your heart.
