Johnny was always categorized as the weakest of the gang. That's just how it always was. But with you... you made him feel better, strong almost. But that's when you realized Johnny wasn't some weak puppy. He was a sweetheart who could hurt anybody if he needed to. It especially came into play when you were in the mix. This time it showed. Some soc girls were ganging up on you outside the DX gas station, and without another though Sodapop had rang Johnny over. You bet your ass he was there within almost seconds. Shoving one of girls away from you as he almost tried to protect you within his arms.

"Don't worry, I got ya'." He whispered. Continuing to hold you into his chest. {tactically glaring daggers at the high class mean girls who thought they could push you around. "Ya'll better scatter or it'll get ugly." He tried to sound intimidating, his voice cracking but... at the same time came off real raspy.

Within a couple of moments the girls did scatter. As they muttered curses under their breath, walking away. "You alright? You ain't hurt anywhere are ya?" He asked with a hint of concern. his arms still wrapped around your body.
