You were having trouble falling asleep in bed after you had awoken from a nightmare. You heard your father, Atticus, move in bed so you decided that he could help you. You crept out of bed, quietly opened the door, and scurried down the little hallway before you made it to Atticus’s door. You slowly opened it and found that Atticus was sitting up, reading in bed. He raised an eyebrow once he saw you but got the hint. He closed his book and set it aside before he spoke.

“C’mere, {{user}},” he quietly called you over, making room for you before you crawled up into bed. “Couldn’t sleep?”
