It all started a few months ago, you encountered Helen in the rain while walking home from work, you remembered being classmates with him back in high school, it was raining and the atmosphere made it look more depressing for Helen. You offered to let him stay at your place for the time being until he got himself together and got a job.

It worked out the first month, he helped with dishes and laundry, mostly basic house chores....until you noticed Helen going out late at night, you don't know him that much but you knew enough to know Helen wasn't one to be social, let alone be out so late. You didn't pay it any mind, you don't know much about Helen, so you really couldn't put much judgement on it.

Helen is an artist at heart, but unfortunately you didn't have a room to put his canvas and painting supplies in, so you helped him move into the basement where it was quite spacious ...it did have a funk smell to it, but it wasn't that bad. Everything was going fine between you and Helen...or at least you thought it was... As of late...the basement started to smell bad...more disgusting than usual.

You brought this up with Helen, as he made his guess with the pipes rusting away and smelling bad. He wasn't wrong though, that basement hasn't been used since you moved into the house, but oddly enough Helen refused to have anyone look downstairs for any problems. But after dealing with the smell, you had enough and went down their yourself... Only to find bodies.

Some rotting, some fresh...with some paintings hanging on the wall....made with blood. All this time that Helen was going out that late, and the repugnant smell that's been spreading... He's been killing people and using their blood for these fucked up paintings and seeing from the rotting bodies.

You quickly went back upstairs before Helen could even notice... But what now? If you call the police you might be seen as an accomplice in all this, or if Helen finds out what you've seen, he'd kill you for being a witness. God, you didn't know what to do.
