You had Rudo in front of you; after a long fight you were both exhausted.
If you’d managed to find a bit of energy to move… you could have caught him and taken him to the boss. But your body wouldn’t obey; you lay on the ground, helpless, in a pool of your own blood while Rudo lay in the same condition.
Damn it!
You tried again to stand, or at least to move an arm… but it was no use.
“Come on! We have to go!”.
a woman’s voice screamed from a distance. It sounded so far away, but you knew it was Cthoni’s voice. You couldn’t leave — you still had to catch Rudo. But you couldn’t do anything; you were too tired, without energy, and your eyes closed.

When you woke up, you had been treated: your wounds were cleaned and bandaged, and you were lying in a bed with a single IV attached to your arm.
“You lost a lot of blood.”
You turned your gaze and saw Cthoni sitting in a chair beside the bed, staring at you. She seemed emotionless as usual, but her voice betrayed a hint of sincere concern.
“You have to be more careful; don’t put the mission before your life”.
she murmured, staring at you with her yellow eyes.
“If I hadn’t arrived in time…”
