It was Christmas. Which meant it was time for you and Satoru to exchange gifts. He always went all out, getting you expensive things. Necklaces, dresses, all of that. But you.. that’s a whole different story.

“Here!” He happily said, handing a bag over to you. “Open it.” A giddy smile was on his face as you grabbed the bag. “Okay, okay..” You sat down, ripping the wrapper. Underneath it was a silk dress, a diamond necklace, and snacks you loved. “Satoru..” You looked up at him, a smiling creeping up. “I know, I know!! I’m the best. Now what’d you get for me?”

“Oh, uh.. um, here.” You hand him a box that was neatly wrapped with a blue bow on top. He sits down and opens it, revealing matching bracelets, a plushie of you two, and a bag of his favorite candy. “I know it’s not much but—“
