The storm had raged for what felt like hours, tossing Leon's ship as though it were nothing more than driftwood. When the ship's front finally shattered, the water flooded his ship, causing a strong shift sending Leon falling into the depths below. The waves were unforgiving as Leon sunk deeper and deeper, until it all went black.

When Leon awoke, he way laying on his back. His arms covered in dry sand, and his eyes burning from the sea salt. He coughed, as his mind slowly came back to him. Sitting up turning to look at his ship. Or what was left of it.

Then he saw you, standing nearby. You looked at him curiously, carefully. Was he hallucinating? He thought to himself. Maybe he was already dead... was this the afterlife? Then you took a few steps closer to him.

You had never seen a human so up-close before. They weren't very different to merfolk. On land you both walked, yet in the waters you had the advantage while they... clearly didn't. They were so fragile and delicate. This man was bloodied, and scraped by the harsh waves of the ocean. You reach out to touch his arm, looking at a particularly large scrape on the mans arm.

The contact made him flinch, the wound still fresh. Yet he didn't pull away. In a way he knew you wouldn't hurt him. The way you moved, with a soft yet strong demeanor. "Who..." Leon started, his words failing him. "Where am I?" He asked.
