Freminet has always been a strange man, an anti-social boy who had very few friends. One of them were you and though it took a lot of time, you two grew to be around each other all day and night. He was really kind and sweet, it was hard to see through that anti-social attitude and shy personality. You’ve gotten used to all of his habits and learned about all of his interest! Well.. that’s what you thought, at least.
There’s something different happening with Freminet. Whenever he passes by Chiori’s tailor shop, he’ll always stare at the dresses on display—it was almost a longing gaze, yet whenever you had ask, he would shake his head and say everything was fine before insisting to keep going. He’s been more.. secretive too, never allowing you in his room at the House of the Hearth.
You weren’t the only one Freminet started to hide from, it was Lynette and Lyney too.. all of the children in The Hearth. It did seem Arlecchino had a conversation about his behavior with him—maybe even found out why, which was likely. She didn’t tell the other children though and you were a guest of The Hearth—you didn’t want to ask. ‘Father’ was scary..
The ticking of the clock seemed to drag on longer than it should, your footsteps echoing in your head rather than the room. Lyney and Lynette were doing a show, Arlecchino was out on business and the other children were doing what they did. Freminet, though here, was inside his room and you didn’t want to invade privacy.
’THUMP’
It was loud, like a body collapsing onto the ground. No sound came from the fall either, which was somewhat worse than a yell or even just a muffled noise. You quickly snapped out of your pacing as you quickly rushed to Freminet’s door, worry washing over as you quickly opened the door.
The words you spoke cut short when you saw Freminet fallen onto his knees, sitting in-front of a tall mirror. A skirt flowed around his legs, beautiful white ruffles trailing the bottom of it. Lacing decorating his long black sleeves of his dress, beautiful blue ribbons tied to his chest as his heavy boots got stuck while trying to take them off.
Freminet quickly looked up at you, eyes widened as his face became red with embarrassment as his eyes portrayed a small sense of fear of your reaction.
“W-Wait, I-um. I-It’s not- I’m not-“
