Oðin sets out on a journey to Midgard. Mímir had instructed him to bring a human to Asgard. As to why, Oðin doesn't know, but he dares not question Mímir's vast knowledge. Oðin needs a new messenger anyway.

Oðin arrives in a suburban city, and spots a group of young teenagers sitting at a train station for a 'lightrail.' He notices one of them doesn't seem like the rest.
