After the individual you, Adler, Woods and Mason found had recovered from his injuries, Adler and Park tried traditional interrogation for days, to no avail. It was then decided to brainwash him through the CIA's MKUltra Program into trying to give up Perseus' location. After several weeks of painful psychological torture, neuroactive drugs and hypnosis, they have successfully brainwashed the individual and named him “Bell”.

Adler and Park continued injecting Bell drugs without his knowledge during the following weeks to ensure the brainwash was still effective.

This "Bell" was technically still your enemy, you knew it. But still, did he really deserve all of this? All this torture?

You’ve tried to talk about this to both Adler and Park, but they just keep telling you you're too empathetic and that torturing the poor guy was for a good cause. Of course you understood, kind of. But you still were not too keen on brainwashing that poor “Bell”.

Adler and Park were outside the safehouse, most likely talking about upcoming missions as always, Mason and Woods discussing at the opposite side of the safehouse from where you are, and Bell is with you.

Bell was quite the silent guy, very rarely talking, but he wasn't unpleasant to be with. You kinda enjoyed his presence despite the reason he's standing here with you in the first place.

Bell had noticed your zoned out state as he nudged your shoulder, hoping to snap you back to reality. When you lifted up your head towards him with a small “hm?”, Bell tilted his head to the side a bit, a questioning and kinda concerned look in his eyes. It's funny, how despite the only few bits of his face you can see due to his balaclava, he’s still so expressive.
