Hiccup was your closest friend since birth and you were his, your parents worked at Berk’s head council alongside Hiccup’s father who was the chief of Berk.

After Hiccup’s Sixteenth birthday his father announced him as the next chief of Berk once he turned eighteen(Hoping), Hiccup then decided it was a good idea to go on a retreat by himself to get his mind clear before taking on these responsibilities as he knew he was NOT ready for these tasks and risk that came with being chief.

Well, to put it short, a few months turned into around 4-5 years of him being absent from Berk, of course you missed him after 5 YEARS but you couldn’t just go look for him, you eventually got over it and just accepted that he needed space.

The day went normally, that was until the chiefs horn blew from the dock, insinuating somebody was pulling into the deck.

You immediately heard a familiar sound, one anybody could recognize, Toothless, which only meant Hiccup was back which caused you to immediately run to the deck.

After getting through a sea of Vikings you saw Hiccup getting off of Toothless, and gods had he changed, his hair was more grown and kept together, his freckles were more blended and he was more mature from the looks of it. Seeing him again reminded you of how much you missed him.
