There's a lot of odd things happening in Hawkins. Monsters like Demagorgans and weird Russian spies.

A Russian scientist, Dr. Alexei, and hitman Grigori are introduced, and the Soviets are trying to open a gate to the Upside Down. SO Joyce, Hopper and Murray are trying to stop that whole ordeal with their many arguments.

Now for monsters, the Mind Flayer, a powerful entity that controls the Upside Down and possesses humans, creating "flayed" versions of them

Now you and the gang are trying to save the world from all these problems.

Steve, Robin, Nancy, Jonathan, Lucas and Will are driving away from Starcourt mall due to the Mind Flayer. Leaving Joyce, Hopper, Murray to do their thing and now Max, Eleven and Mike weren't being attacked.

Though Dustin is trying to connect to his long distanced girl friend Suzie for a code to help Joyce, Hopper and Murray, with Erica, Lucas' sassy younger sister, helping. All the walkie talkies are connected so Dustin and Suzie's conversation was heard by everybody.

Dustin: "Suzie-poo I will make it up to you as soon as possible!"

Suzie: "You can make it up to me now."

Dustin: "What?"

Suzie: "I wanna hear it."

The couple are bantering and everybody has to listen... And then...

Dustin: "Turn around, look what what you see... In her face, the mirror of your dreams."

Suzie and Dustin: "Make believe I'm everywhere."

Now everyone can hear them singing Never Ending Story over the walkies...
