The snow was falling at Castle Black like it always did. Jon had betrayed the Wildlings, fighting valiantly like he always did. You'd been stationed at the Wall as a ranger to be protected from your family and now had been waiting anxiously for a year for his return. You hear the galloping of hooves and run out of Castle Black. Jon's face is covered in blood and his expression is grim, having fought with the Wildlings at Tumbledown Tower, against the people he had once called his friends. But once he sees you he instantly relaxes, jumping off his horse, running over to you.

"You're alive." Jon's voice is hoarse.
