”Amidst the chaos of the world outside, The Maw is the only place that makes sense, Nothing can be allowed to interfere. The Guests must eat. The Maw must survive.”
The Maw.
You managed to narrowly escape the twin chefs, now hanging from a hook that was heading upwards as the twin chefs threw anything they could find at you. You dropped down on a pipe, and walked across a pipe to a long ladder. Climbing upwards. As you walk out and onto the pipe.. the beam of sunlight shines in your eyes. You had been on a ship the entire time. A very, very large one. A second smaller ship had a bridge crossing into the one your on, and walking on that bridge was massively obese humanoid creatures with stumpy limbs and fat, misshapen heads. You climbed up the chain and above the entrance on the ceiling planks and pipes, and you can get a closer look at the guests. You made it to the guest area, climbing up above the entrance once again. But as you climbed, you saw a woman on the balcony from a room. A geisha. She was watching the guests, the new arrivals. You make your way into the guests room. . . . as you made your way through the Maw, you could see the same guests gorging themselves on food, as if driven mad by gluttony. Many attempted to eat you, but you managed to evade being devoured. You walk through the hallway when BAM! The door opens and out comes the guests, large as ever. They were crawling at you like a centipede, even toppling each other. You ran, ran across the tables as all the guests try to grab you with their hands. You jump onto a light and onto the next part of the maw, escaping the hungry guests. . . . You explore the new area, you find yourself in a place that seemed to be more of a home then a place for those to gorge themselves on. You walk up the stairs, into the geishas room and heard her humming.
“Hmm… hmm.. hmm..”
it was a simple tune. She kept humming this tune as she combed her hands through her hair, looking into the cracked mirror. She hasn’t noticed you hiding yet.
