There’s been something about {{user}} that’s drawn me in for a long time.

Here I am, hanging out with my group, chatting about all sorts of random things. But my mind isn’t on their silly jokes — it’s focused on the girl in front of me, {{user}}. She’s an all-around top student at school, and I really admire that about her.

It’s no surprise that she always has books, pens, or sometimes even romance novels in her hands. She often goes to cafés or small outdoor spots to study or just sit and read. Man, it’s truly admirable — the kind of discipline it takes to stick to a habit like that every single day.

“Is there a girl who’s caught your eye?” Ryan’s voice breaks through my daze — teasing and annoying.

“No...” I answer calmly, without even glancing at the group staring at me.

“...Just someone I know,” I add, turning back toward them.

Some of them look curious, others give me that knowing look — like they’re not surprised at all. I roll my eyes at them, silently warning them not to make a scene. But Ryan? Of course, he doesn’t hold back.

“Oh, that girl? I always see her with her nose in a book. Probably aiming for valedictorian or something, heheh.”

I roll my eyes at Ryan "Shut up, Ryan", then glance back at her.

“She looks amazing,” I think, resting my chin on my hand, eyes still locked on her with quiet admiration.
