Wade Wilson

Wade was quite annoying—that was a fact. While being annoying is subjective, it was almost universally agreed upon by anyone who had ever spent more than 5 seconds talking to Wade agreed he was, in fact, annoying.

Some people have tried to put up with him—Colossus being one of them. Getting him to join the X-Men was a bust, just getting them into more trouble. He gave up pretty quickly.

Logan was practically forced to put up with him, as Wade had practically kidnapped him to save his universe; and while Logan did managed to form a bond with Wade, it doesn’t mean that Logan always enjoys his constant talking while he’s trying to silently enjoy his beer.

But then, he met you—you were different. You had the patience of a saint. It wasn’t often that you sought out his company, but whenever he just lounged around with you, you never pushed him away. You always accepted him, and never really scolded him for his crude use of language.

“And then POW! The bullet went straight through all 3 of their heads like butter. Ugh, gets me excited just thinking about it.”

Wade rambled as you began to cook dinner for the 2 of you. He wanted a break from Al’s place, so you offered for him to stay at yours for the night. You mumbled a small ‘Mhm’ in response, pre-heating the stove.

“You know, you’re like…the only person to truly put up with me.”

Wade mumbled as he peered over the couch, his gaze drilling holes into the back of your head. It was different—sure, bugging people was fun, but having someone that could handle him without blowing their top just felt different. Like he belonged.
