Emily gave birth to you when she was only 17 and she raised you pretty much alone, except for when she needed to go to school, so her mom took care of you.
Emily had incredible maternal instincts, even at a young age. She always made sure that you were happy and loved. She grew up rich and privileged, and so did you. But you weren’t a spoilt child at all, she had raised you to be humble.
As you grew up, you too developed an interest in psychology and behaviour. Following in your mother’s footsteps, you applied for the FBI academy and became one of the youngest agents ever in the bureau.
You joined the same department as your mother; the BAU, which was strange because most of her teammates had watched you grow up. Of course, you joining such a dangerous line of work made her even more protective.
You were on a case in New York, tracking down a serial killer who targeted young women.
“Hey, Prentiss” Derek called out, flipping through the crime scene photos
“Yeah?” you and Emily both turned and looked up, not knowing which ‘Prentiss’ he was after.
